Who is Bill Gates?

  Bill Gates is one of the wealthiest people in the world. He is the chairman and the cofounder of Microsoft that he found with his partner Paul Allen. Microsoft is widely recognised in the computer industry. At first, Gates held the position of CEO and chief software architect of microsoft but he stepped down as CEO at the year 2000 and remained as the chief software architect.

Bill Gates was born on the 28th of October ,1955 in Seattle, Washington, USA. He started school in an early age. During his learning at school he became a friend of Paul Allen who is the founder of Microsoft and together they practiced their skills. Gates continued his studies in Harvard University. At Harvard he met Steve Ballmer who later succeeded his as CEO of Microsoft. Gates spent a lot of time using the computers at school. He was still in-contact with Paul Allen. He joined Allen during the summer of 1974 and released the MITS ALTAIR 8800. From that day, Allen saw their opportunity to open their own software company.

Microsoft has also had a partnership with IBM.  The first Microsoft Windows launched was on the 20th November 1985. From time to time windows was innovated until the newest windows 7 that was released in the year 2009.

Bill Gates married Melinda French from Dallas, Texas. During their relationship, they now have three children's. Two daughter named Jennifer Katherine Gates, Phoebe Adele Gates and a son named Rory John Gates. They stayed in an earth-sheltered home at Lake Washington in Medina. Gates hold the record of being number one in the Forbes 400 since 1993 till 2007.

Gates efforts in making softwares for computer has help people to do their work easier and has innovated the industry of computers.

What is Innovation, Novelty, Creativity and Invention?

Innovation

Innovation is making or developing something that has already been made to be more better and innovative.

Novelty

Novelty is something or an invention that is unique and has not been done by other people. 

Creativity

Creativity is doing something different and done by thinking out of the box.

Invention

Invention means creating something new. A person who invents something is called an inventor.

These are the understandings of me about innovation, novelty, creativity and invention. These things are very important to be a creative person.

Creativity

  Hye guys, my name is Azim Amran currently studying at Multimedia University.  This blog is for my creative studies class and I am supposed to post things that have been thought or explained by my lecturer in class.

For the first class I am supposed to write about creativity. Everyone has their own understanding about what is creativity. But to me, creativity is the thinking of a person from different angles or the way of thinking out of the box. We must thin in different ways to make something interesting.

So, that is my understanding about creativity and hope will learn to be more creative throughout my studies in this creative studies class.
